On 29th May 2019, in Hanoi, EVN’s Deputy General Director Nguyen Tai Anh welcomed and worked with Mr. Brian M.T. Selby - Director of GE Hydropower in ASEAN region.

Mr. Brian M.T.Selby said that in order to support EVN in implementing some pumped storage hydropower projects in the coming time, a proposal was made by GE on coordination to organize a technical workshop for exchanging expertise and sharing real experiences of GE in the process of developing a series of hydropower projects worldwide.
Deputy General Director of EVN Nguyen Tai Anh highly welcomed GE’s proposal and assigned EVN’s specialized departments to start coordination in working out the plan to organize a workshop program with the highest efficiency.
At the meeting, the two sides also exchanged some general information on the electricity market in Vietnam and modern technologies in the field of hydropower production.
GE and EVN have maintained an intensive and strong cooperation for many years.
